Andrew Tyler

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Tyler serves as Chief Executive Officer of Algeco's business unit. In this role, he is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the company’s business.

Prior to this position Andrew was Chief Executive for Northrop Grumman Europe, part of the US $25Bn aerospace and defense company. Previously he was Chief Executive of a private equity-backed marine renewable company sold to Siemens in 2012.

From 2006 he was at the UK Ministry of Defense acquisition organization where, as Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for $20Bn/annum of procurement, support services, logistics, and asset management. Originally he worked at the global BMT Group holding Managing Director, Group Operations Director, and Chairman roles across multiple geographies.

Andrew holds a Bachelors science degree, a PhD, and an MBA from London Business School. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and was made a CBE in 2012.

Sunny Thakrar

Chief Financial Officer

Sunny Thakrar is Chief Financial Officer. As EVP and CFO, Sunny is responsible for all financial management of the company, its financial functions including Controller, Treasury, Financial Planning, Tax and Internal Audit.

Sunny brings with him more than 15 years of finance and transformational leadership experience, having held executive roles in both publicly quoted and private equity backed business.

Sunny was appointed Chief Financial Officer in February 2018, and prior to that served as Chief Financial Officer of Algeco Europe from 2016 to 2018. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Parabis Group from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, he served as Group Finance Director at Sunseeker International Group from 2010 to 2015. Sunny has been a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants since 1995.

James O'Malley

Group General Counsel

James O'Malley was appointed as Algeco's Group General Counsel in 2018, having joined the group in 2013 and previously serving as its European General Counsel.

James is responsible for Algeco's global legal affairs and leads the group's risk and compliance function. James also serves as Company Secretary.

Prior to joining Algeco, James worked for global law firm DLA Piper in both the UK and the US.

James attended the University of Leeds and the College of Law in the UK and received his LLM from Fordham University School of Law in New York. James is a member of the New York and Maryland bars and is a Solicitor qualified in England and Wales.

Brad Archer

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, North America

Brad serves as President of Algeco Scotsman's North America business unit, Target Logistics. In this role, he is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the company's United States and Canadian businesses.

Brad was appointed President of Target Logistics in 2016, where he previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer. Brad joined our group in 2013 when we acquired Target Logistics, where he began working in 2010.

Prior to joining Target Logistics, Brad held Chief Operating Officer positions at two other modular manufacturers. Prior to that, Brad was Regional Manager and later Senior Vice President at Resun, having joined in 1991. Brad attended Sam Houston State University.

Anthony Walsh

President, Asia-Pacific

Anthony serves as President of Algeco's Asia-Pacific business. In this role, he is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the company's Australia, China, and New Zealand businesses.

Prior to this current position, Anthony served as Chief Operating Officer of Ausco Modular. He joined Ausco in 2003 in the role of Finance Director before becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2008.

Before joining Ausco, Anthony spent six years with the Waco International Group in South Africa, four of these years as Finance Director of the group's scaffolding and formwork operations. Previously, he spent several years working for Deloitte and Touche in the Audit Division and then Management Consulting Division.

Anthony is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, and an Honors degree in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa.

Bruce Melizan

Bruce Melizan

Chief Transformation Officer

Bruce serves as the Chief Transformation Officer, having joined in 2018. In this role, he is responsible for all pan-Group transformational change projects plus the Asset Management function, IT, Procurement and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment).

Prior to this position, Bruce served on the Board of Interserve Plc and was the Executive Director for Interserve’s Support Services Division from 2005 to 2017, a £1.6bn multi-service business employing 50,000 people in the UK and Europe.

Bruce joined Interserve in 2003 as the Managing Director of the Investments Division responsible for bidding and ultimately managing the Group’s investments in PFI/PPP projects. Bruce has been in the services industry for more than 25 years having started his career with Schlumberger and has since lived and worked in multiple geographies. Previous organisations include Amey, Mowlem and TYE Manufacturing.

Bruce holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada and a MBA from Cranfield Business School. He is also the Chairman of the charity, Safer London.

Matthieu Wargnier

Matthieu Wargnier

Group HR Director

Matthieu Wargnier is Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role he is responsible for all HR management of the company and HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Learning, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Culture, Compensation & Benefits and Employee Relations.

Matthieu brings with him more than 15 years of experience in international human resources management and business transformation in large international corporations such as General Electric, Alstom and Rexel or, more recently, as Group HR Director of Nexity, France’s leading integrated real estate group.

Matthieu holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from NEOMA Business School and an Executive Master’s degree from INSEAD.

Alexis Salmon-Legagneur

Managing Director France

Alexis Salmon-Legagneur serves as Managing Director of Algeco's France strategic business unit. In this role, he is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the company’s business in France.

Alexis brings with him 25 years of experience in B2B services companies.

Alexis joined Algeco in 2016. Prior to this position, he was Managing Director of an Elior Group Subsidiary from 2013 until 2015. From 2006 until 2012, Alexis served as Managing Director of the elevator company Schindler France.

Alexis holds a Master's degree in Finance and an Master of Science in Engineering.

Angèle Brucker

Angèle Brucker

Managing Director Eastern, Northern and Southern Europe

Angele Brucker is Managing Director Eastern, Northern and Southern Europe. In her role, she is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of 13 countries of Eastern, Northern and Southern Europe.

Angele brings with her more than 15 years of both functional and operational experience at an international level. She has been driving growth in many countries and a transformation program on 360° services. She successfully worked on integrating companies.

Angele started at Algeco in 1996 as a Financial Planning and Analysis Controller in Germany and then she gradually evolved and held different positions within the company. From 1999 to 2006, she was Finance Director for Central and Eastern European countries. She then served as Sales Director and Deputy General Manager in Germany and Benelux until 2007, before taking over the Managing Director role for Germany and Central and Eastern Europe during 8 years. She later became SVP, Global Sales & Marketing in June 2015 before taking over her current role in May 2016. Prior to Algeco, she was working as a financial controller in the automotive industry at Valeo Germany and as the Head of Administration and Finance in a subsidiary of Air Liquide France in the gas industry

Angele holds a Master’s degree in Finance from EM Business School and a Strategy Master’s degree from ICG.

Stefan Harder

Managing Director Germany

Stefan serves as Managing Director for the SBU Germany since 2015. In his role, he is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects within the SBU.

Prior to this position, Stefan held executive positions in large multinational Groups such as Bayer, W.L. Gore & Associates, Heidelberger Zement and Assa Abloy. Stefan, based in Germany today, spent 10 years abroad to operate his assignments. He has more than 30 years of experience in transformational leadership and business expansions.

Stefan holds a degree from a business school in Cologne.
